Social Media & Community Engagement Lead

Commitment: Approx. 10 hours per month

Role Overview:
We’re seeking a creative and organized volunteer to manage our social media presence (Instagram, Facebook) and The Americano Dream website, while also supporting community service planning and roadshow events. This is an excellent opportunity for students seeking school credit (additional requirements must be reviewed and approved by their institution).
Responsibilities:
- Manage and update content on Instagram, Facebook, and the TAD website
- Create and schedule engaging posts to promote events, programs, and campaigns
- Monitor social media interactions and respond to comments/messages
- Assist with planning and coordination of roadshows and community service activities
- Collaborate with the team to strengthen outreach and engagement
- Track basic analytics to measure growth and engagement
- Manage Google doc, Google Drive
Ideal Candidate:
- Familiarity with social media platforms and trends
- Basic knowledge of website content management
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) – preferred but not required
Additional Notes:
- Students may be eligible for school credit (requirements must be verified with their institution).
- Flexible schedule with a commitment up to 10 hours per month.
